VECTEC was set up in 1997, in Clermont-Ferrand. It is now located in Vichy, in the centre of France, in new premises with room for expansion in the future.
The company was born out of the desire of three laparoscopic surgery specialists to come with an answer to the increasing demands from the health sector for sterile, single-use products, and to the recommendations for use of such by the health authorities, while nevertheless taking the budgeting constraints of hospitals into account.
